This assignment focuses on the legal codes and regulations that affect architecture and influence design are then reviewed including a study of energy, accessibility, egress and life-safety. The development of project documentation based on local codes is studied, with an emphasis on technical documentation, drawing format organization and outline specifications.

Extensive consideration of structure, circulation and natural systems is developed concerning both specific and large-scale issues. Some of the primary issues surrounding the cinematheque include its immediate cultural and social climate under which it was designed, the specific programs it had to accommodate and structurally combining all these details into one comprehensive provocative building.

The challenge is to create a structure that correlates to the area without seamlessly resembling the vernacular architecture around it or otherwise be too prominent. The design was then motivated to play with perception of the mind. Each perspective point is to emulate the vernacular architecture around the site.

Filtration is used to clean and sort out substances by passing them through a strain.
